1.Moments 朋友圈

如果你把微信调成英文模式，会看到朋友圈显示为moments，这个单词有瞬间、时刻、目前的意思。朋友圈就是大家分享自己当下生活学习状态的平台嘛。

e.g：

People like to post traveling pictures on theirWechat Moments.

人们喜欢发旅行照片到朋友圈。

2. Alias ['eliəs] 昵称

"My Alias in Group" 我的群昵称

3. Chat History 聊天记录

e.g：

She's clearing the chat history.

她正在删聊天记录。

4. Profile picture 头像

Profile [ˈproʊfaɪl] 外形；轮廓；面部侧影

把头像直译成Head picture，老外可能会以为你在说关于头部的特写图片。把头像说成photo，老外是可以理解的，但更准确的表达是profile photo和profile picture。

他的微信头像是一只可爱的小狗。

5. Screen name 网名

除了现实中的名字，不少人都爱用网名，很多人都把网名翻译为name on Internet或net name，其实网名还有一个地道表达。不同于现实生活的面对面交流，网络上的交流都要通过屏幕，所以网名也是screen name。

我能知道你的网名吗？

6. Selfie 自拍照

2002年时，一位澳大利亚男子拍了张负伤照，并上传到网络论坛上与朋友分享。他写道：“抱歉没对好焦，有些模糊，因为这是张selfie。”

That was the first recorded use of the word “selfie”, according tolinguistic experts at Oxford Dictionaries.

来自《牛津词典》的语言专家组表示，这是“selfie（自拍）”一词最早出现的记录。

《牛津词典》宣布“selfie（自拍）”成为牛津2013年度热词，以表彰这一凭借智能手机自拍以及社交媒体分享而风靡世界的词汇。

e.g：

My friend takes a lot of selfies and won t hang out with people hotter than her.

我的一个朋友很喜欢自拍，而且不跟长得比自己好看的人一起玩。

7. Chat History 聊天记录

e.g：

她正在删聊天记录。

8. Like 点赞

微信、微博和twitter上的点赞都翻译成了“like”，目前的网络用语点赞 like 既可作为动词，亦可作为名词。因此，我们就可以将“给某人点赞”翻译成“give sb a like”。

e.g：

They felt validated when they got a lot of likes and comments.

当他们获得一大堆点赞和评论的时候，会觉得证实了自己的价值。

除了like之外，还有一个生动形象的词“thumbs-up”[ˌθʌmz"ʌp]。从字面上不难看出，该词的意思就是“竖起大拇指”，给你点赞。

e.g：

She checked the hall, then gave the others a thumbs-up sign.

她查看了一下大厅，然后冲其他人竖了一下大拇指。
